Home Owner - Outdoor

The aesthetics of a golf green and the convenience of golfing in your back garden make artificial putting greens the most popular product here at European Golf. They also provides excellent entertainment for your family and house guests.

The surface of an artificial putting green is just like a professional green and it reacts perfectly to the golf ball for your putting and chipping practice. Many PGA golfers have a putting green by European Golf, which is a testimony to the high quality artificial surface. Now you can spend more time in your garden and shave points off your handicap with an artificial putting green.

For the home owner there are a few choices when it comes to choosing a green, you need to ensure you pick the best green for you and your needs:

  • 1.DIY Greens: A DIY green is based on panels which are pre-cut for you along with the turf and fringe, meaning you can avoid a large proportion of the costs associated with a standard green installation. It also means you can take it with you when you move house. These come in four sizes. Please contact the office for more information.
  • 2.Celebrity Greens: You can have you very own celebrity golf green in your back garden. There are 6 designs to choose from, you choose the one that best suits you.
  • 3.Bespoke Putting Greens: It may be that you have a very bespoke design in mind that will suit your golf needs better, we assess each job separately and will help you take your very own green from conception to completion.

You have chosen your design but which type of surface are you wanting?

Infill Greens (Target Greens )

Choose an infill green for long range chipping practice up to 150 yards. Target greens can be great fun in your back garden, especially when accompanied by surrounding bunkers or small landscaped water hazards! The sand infill adds more weight to the overlaying turf for an excellent ball response at long range. Although infill greens are not as realistic to putt on as our non-infill Tour Proven TP1 turf, this is the next best thing. Enjoy long range chipping and putting practice with target greens from European Golf.

Non-Infill (Putting Greens / Chipping Greens)

Choose a non-infill green for the best putting experience. These golf greens are superior to traditional infill greens for putting practice because the blades of artificial turf are less rigid - they are not weighted by a layer of sand. European Golf can also create a fringe area around the green for chipping practice. Improve your short game and enjoy the convenience of golfing in your back garden with a synthetic putting green.
