Residential Putting Greens
THE SIGNATURE COLLECTION -
THE ULTIMATE GIFT FOR THE GOLF FANATIC
Putting is a major part of a round of golf and can make the difference between winning or losing. The average 10 handicap Golfer takes 32 putts during their 18 hole round, whereas the tour pros take an average of just 25. Every golfer can now improve their putting game by practicing like the Pro’s using European Golf’s ‘Signature Greens’.
European Golf, the non franchised market leaders in delivering the very best synthetic golf practice facilities available in Europe today, launched their new ‘Signature Greens Collection’ at the London Golf Show, Earl’s Court, recently.
The synthetic practice greens, which can be used all year round, whatever the weather, have been designed and produced in conjunction with leading Pro’s Lee Westwood and, ‘2011 Open Championship’ winner, Darren Clarke, who have also endorsed their names to the versions of the greens available.
Of his involvement with European Golf, Lee Westwood commented: "I have used European Golf’s products to help improve my game for years. When I had the option to design my own signature green I was delighted to put my name to it."
Darren Clarke too was more than happy to endorse European Golf’s latest additions to their product range: "Being able to practice at any time of the day or year is important to remaining at the top of my game. European Golf’s Signature Greensallow me to do this, indoors or out, whatever the weather."
Available in several sizes from £595.00, the greens, which require no watering, feeding, mowing or weeding, can be infilled with sand to enhance the realism of the surface and to vary putting speeds to allow everyone to putt and practice like the Pro’s!
European Golf offers an extensive range of products and services for homeowners to enjoy golf indoors or in the comfort of the back garden. Artificial putting greens are probably the most desirable training aid for any golfer, helping to improve the game. Modular greens allow you to practice indoor and outdoor, as they are portable, great for the summer days outdoors, whilst continuing practice indoors in the winter months. Golf nets make driving practice possible in a small area and artificial lawns are the perfect product for an evergreen, no maintenance garden. European Golf provide quality installations on both synthetic putting greens and artificial lawns.
If you are still unsure as to why you would invest in a green ask yourself these questions:
- 1. Am I practicing less on my game as it means driving to the golf club each time?
- 2. Am I wanting to improve my game, therefore lowering my handicap?
- 3. Do I want to practice in my home whenever I can?
- 4. Do I want to be the best possible golfer I can be?
If any one of these answers is yes then it’s simple, you need a European Golf green. The choices are as follows:
Residential Putting Greens
The aesthetics of a green and the convenience of golfing in your back garden make artificial greens the most popular here at European Golf. They also provide excellent entertainment for your family and friends. The surface of a an artificial green is just like a professional green in the way it reacts perfectly to the golf ball for your putting and chipping practice. Many PGA tour players have a putting green by European Golf, which is a testimony to the high quality surface.
Modular Greens
Bring golf indoors with a modular green! These superb training aids are available in a variety of shapes and sizes are available up to an area of twelve square feet. Contour mats are provided to make your putting experience even more challenging.
Modular greens (sometimes called pre packed greens) have a series of panels which slot together with plastic fasteners and covered over with pre-cut artificial turf. Assembly should only take fifteen minutes and it can be packed away when not in use. You can leave the modular green in a permanent location or choose to move it around as it weighs only three kilograms. This is the most flexible putting surface available.
Indoor Golf
Go one better than a pre packed modular green and get a permanent indoor putting green for an even better golfing experience. Indoor golf is perfect for office buildings as a unique feature and part of your corporate hospitality. It can also be an excellent facility at home, if you have enough room inside.
The green is installed with modular panels to form the base and polystyrene is used to make contours. The artificial golf turf is then laid on top to provide a smooth and realistic green. The result and quality is comparable to an outdoor putting green except you will stay dry when it rains.
Artificial Lawns
Choose artificial grass for a complete garden lawn solution.
European Golf offer an artificial lawn installation service to non-golfers. However, if you are going to install an artificial putting green it may be worth considering a full artificial lawn at the same time. Ask one of our team for more details.
