Specialist Adventure Golf Design, Build & Run Services
Adventure Golf courses are an exciting, and profitable facility available for Leisure Parks, Driving Ranges, Golf Courses & Councils, mainly due to their minimal maintenance requirements and affordable build plans. Every year we see an increase in leisure parks and courses being developed with popular Golf-themed areas offering fun for all the family, most commonly including Adventure Golf. The design and scale of a course has a direct impact on your initial costs and future profitability. With years of experience in building these courses, we design each course to require little maintenance and ensure they are suitable for all weathers, offering the investor a high return on investment. Adventure Golf is a fun leisure activity for visitors of all ages which, more importantly, is affordable to play.
As with all golfing applications installed by European Golf, the preparation and planning process of an Adventure Golf course is one of the most important stages due to the amount of technical components needed to construct the perfect course. One of the most important stages is deciding on a theme for your course (for example, pirate adventure golf). We’re here to assist with your course every step of the way, from the initial site-survey right down to helping you choose your scorecards! When we design and build these courses, we research and organise every single component to ensure that we can complete the entire project in-house. We then design the course based on the budget, size, number of holes required, theme selected and many other variables that affect the final design. We have an in-house design and architectural facility, meaning that your requirements will be completely tailored and understood from the offset.
Superior Build Quality – High Grade Materials & Advanced Installers
Once the plans are in place and the scene is set, the fun part begins. European Golf will carry out the works from start to finish, and you will work with your own Install Manager who will be supervising the project consistently, ensuring that time-scale, budget, and quality checks are undertaken, and the project is delivered to the high standard expected. We understand that some companies or investors may be on a tight budget, and this is why we’re also happy to work with the customer in agreeing to work only on set parts of the process (for example, shaping and grassing the greens). The finest materials are used on each course, including Professional Nylon Putting Grass, Award Winning Fringe Grass, high-quality aggregates, hand-crafted props and much more.
Self Build & Management Services
After successfully building and running two of our own courses in the past couple of years, we’ve gained valuable expertise in the area and know what it takes to make an Adventure Golf venture ever more successful. We’ve made the mistakes and learned the lessons the hard way, ensuring that you won’t have too. European Golf & Showcase Greens Adventure Golf are in partnership to provide specialist course run & management services, helping your investment work harder with less involvement from the investor.
Case Study – Highfields Park Adventure Golf
In May 2017 we opened an 18 hole adventure golf course in Nottingham, with fully Artificial Grass greens and connecting WetPour Pathways where each hole carries a local Nottingham theme. We installed 1200 square metres of our synthetic golf and fringe surfaces including the renowned Wonder Yarn 26mm, which won the Which? Best Buy Award in 2016. Our May Bank Holiday weekend saw over 1000 visitors testing and enjoying the course, and was a huge success.
The golf course has been installed as part of a multi-million pound project to restore Highfields Park. The project will also include a new boating house by Highfields Lake and new croquet lawns and bowling greens at the park. This course has been designed around local Nottinghamshire themes, including Robin Hood, Sherwood Forest, the City of Caves, Beeston Lake and the football and cricket sport teams.
Jordan Foster, Site Manager at Highfields Park Adventure Golf said: “Our first weekend was very successful, with people commenting on the local design of the golf course. Visitors also mentioned how good the quality of the European Golf surface is. The golf course will be popular with families for some summer fun.”.
Josh Bartlett, Project Manager for Highfields Park, said: “I have worked on many golf courses with my team. This one in particular was fun to work on because of the local themes design. The location is also fantastic and the project to revamp Highfields Park will help to attract more people to the area. Artificial Grass is ideal for golf courses because it is resilient and durable under all weather conditions. The synthetic surface doesn’t become muddy or damaged in bad weather like natural grass does.”.
Due to the continued success of the course throughout 2017, the decision was made to extend the 18-Hole Course and build an additional 9-Hole Mini-FootGolf and Fun Golf area ready for the 2018 season.
