Over the years, we’ve worked with a wide variety of clients from Blue Chip Corporations and PGA Professionals looking for cutting edge facilities, to small home owners or amateur golfers ready to take their first step into a synthetic surface. After years of working with hundreds of customers, where each venue, club or garden is different, we really understand what it takes to deliver high quality customer service, whilst also backing up our promise with first class products and installations.
At European Golf we have a number of services and products available, all of which are suitable for different requirements. To begin with, you will work with a dedicated account manager who will advise and support you throughout your European Golf journey. It is their job to advise each prospective customer what the best solution is relative to your enquiry. Our teams will ask a number of questions to determine exactly what you need based on a description of your desired outcome, the area (including the location), base works required, usage requirements, and area dimensions. We will then advise on an estimated price and will send out a free sample pack of the products most suitable for the project.
In-House Design Team
Once you receive your samples and are happy to move forward based on the estimated guide price, your account manager will arrange a site survey if required, with a time and date to suit you. If the cost is out of your budget, do not worry – we can always look at other alternatives, like our modular green range. Our Account Managers have years of experience within the golf and synthetic turf industries, so you can feel confident that they will provide and collect all information required to ensure the best possible installation. They will take an in-depth look at the base work required, the direction of the green, the contours required and many other variables. They will take photographs and a rough green sketch will be presented. This will then be turned into a visual graphic illustration, so that you can see exactly how your green will look.
Following the Design & Survey phase, an install date will be agreed, upon which the process will begin. Unfortunately, there will be a short period of time where you will feel like a child at Christmas as you wait in anticipation for your proposal and garden dreams to come to life. The install will be completed with minimal disruption to the client, every installation is different and will be completely tailored to the client’s requirements. Typically, we will remove the existing base – whether this is soil, concrete, tarmac or block paving – and we will lay our Geotex weed membrane to ensure no weeds come through the aggregate. We then construct the shape and contours using two types of very pourable aggregate: Granite Stone and Type 1. The Type 1 forms a sturdy base outlining the contours while the granite stone is then used to help bind the turf to the aggregate, preventing any future snags or ripples. The turf is then cut, laid and sanded appropriately, depending on the install. Before the project is signed off, we make sure that you, the client, are completely happy with the end result – your very own putting green.
We pride ourselves on our after sales services: we make it a priority to keep in touch with you and assist with all queries. Each job is given 100% dedication from every single member of our team. Upon installation, your account manager will email or post out all relevant information regarding maintenance advice together with product and installation warranties. We also offer maintenance packages to keep your green looking and playing brand new for many years to come.
